Railway RRB NTPC 2024 Selection Process
The Railway RRB NTPC 2024 selection process is designed to thoroughly assess candidates’ abilities across multiple stages. Here’s what you need to clear to land that dream job:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) 1: This is the initial screening test.
- CBT 2: A more detailed exam for shortlisted candidates.
- Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Depending on the post.
- Document Verification: To confirm your eligibility and credentials.
- Medical Examination: To ensure you’re fit for the job.
Each stage is elimination, meaning you need to clear the current stage to move to the next. This multi-stage process ensures that only the most suitable candidates are selected for the various posts.
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024
For the RRB NTPC 2024, the pattern for CBT 1 is as follows:
- Total questions: 100
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Sections: Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness
CBT 2 follows a similar pattern but with more questions and higher difficulty level. While preparing, gradually increase the difficulty level of your practice questions to be ready for both CBT 1 and CBT 2.
Each section carries equal weightage, so it’s important to prepare for all areas thoroughly. The questions are multiple-choice, and there’s negative marking for wrong answers in RRB NTPC recruitment exam.
